my daughter is 7 months old. is it advisable to add salt and haldi to her home cooked food?

A. Hi mamma Adding salt/Sugar to the baby food till one year is not recommended As it can pose a burden on the baby's developing Kidneys. you can start it after one year. But that too in moderate quantity

A. Hi dear no you should not. baby’s salt requirement per day is less than 1 g per day and this is mostly met by the breastmilk or formula. So any extra salt will be a burden on the tiny kidneys and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. This may lead to kidney disease
