my daughter is 3yr 8months old. from past 2mnths she started to stutter while telling stories. but now it has increased a lot. I have consulted doc online they said it is quite common it gets to normal in 6months to year of time. im very much worried about her.

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Stuttering usually first appears between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. Between 75% to 80% of all children who begin stuttering will stop within 12 to 24 months without speech therapy. If your child has been stuttering longer than 6 months, they may be less likely to outgrow it on their own.
