A. Ayurvedic medicines are not monitored by the drugs regulatory body in India. so what they contain and how useful or harmful their contents are is not known. besides there have been innumerable instances where ayurvedic meds have been found to be contaminated with steroids resulting in liver or kidney failures. so I would suggest to avoid giving anything for improving appetite and stick to traditional methods like getting more physical activity from the child. also check for anemia. low Hb can cause loss of appetite.

A. If you are using any medicine for the child after the consent with your doctor Ayurvedic doctor then there is no problem with that because we do not recommended to give any medicine to the child without consulting the doctor as that’s not considered good so this case if you would want to go ahead with any medication please consult a doctor first
