Q.

my daughter is 2 months 8 days old her birth weight was 2.4 kg now she is 4 kg by weight.. she is completely on breastfeed but now a days so many people are suggesting me to give her formula milk along with mother's milk.. according to them she is so weak and I should give her formula so she will become chubby cute girl. should I follow their suggestion

A. dear mum the weight gain of your baby is absolutely fine and good baby should gain at least 500 gram per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or less you are absolutely right by only giving breastmilk do not introduce formula it can reduce breastmilk supply , risk infection, breastmilk is nature's food for baby most nourishing support optimum physical and mental development
