A. The ideal weight for a 4-month-old baby can vary based on factors such as birth weight, genetics, and overall health. However, on average, a 4-month-old baby may weigh between 12 to 16 pounds (5.4 to 7.3 kilograms). It's important to note that individual growth patterns can differ, and what matters most is that your baby is following a consistent growth curve, showing steady weight gain, and is generally healthy. Regular check-ups with your pediatrician will help ensure that your baby's growth and development are on track. If you have any concerns about your baby's weight or growth, it's always best to discuss them with your pediatrician. They can provide personalized guidance based on your baby's specific circumstances and offer reassurance or additional support as needed.
