#AskTheExpert my son weight is 4 kg now (2 months 6 days). birth weight is 2.7 kg, is it normal??

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 7 m old girl3 years agoA. In the initial months, weight gain if 140-200 gms per week is considered good and by 5th month, it should double the weight. For healthy weight gain, it is important to feed frequently and fully and it should include atleast two times night feed too till 4 months. Your baby's weight is fine and there is no need to be concerned.
