Q.

my daughter is 18 months old currently and as per my vaccination schedule pcv booster should be given to 15 months what should we do?? other thing is that my daughter has been vaccinated from pvt hospital since beginning but when she was 9 months, vaccination was from govt. hospital and 5 vaccination was given, MR1, JE, IPV3, PCV booster and vit. A at 9 months . should we vaccinated my daughter again for PCV booster? kindly guide me , highly confused.

A. not required as the booster was given at 9 months there are multiple vaccines available in the market. government setup gives many vaccines. there are many vaccines which is not available at the government setup and you should get them at private setup (discuss with yourdr) eg.typhoid, hepatitis a, chickenpox, flu vaccine etc. many times vaccines are region specific and according to the disease those vaccines has to be taken after consulting your doctor. kindly meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccinations you can take for your child which is not available at the government setup . also there are painless vaccine option available at private setup.
