my daughter is 10 moths old ...she has cold for 4 , 5 days..fever bhi aa raha hai from friday..contineous nahi hai fever raat me aur morning me aata hai...medicine Dene k baad thodi der k liye he Kam ata hai#AskTheExpert

A. it happens!! Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

A. Fever is a defense against infection. Your child's body is raising its temperature to kill the germs. In most cases it's harmless and goes away on its own in 3 days.
