Q.

my daughter is 10 months old and she is not eating uggu(home made cerlac) without salt is there any problem daily adding salt.. how much quantity should I add pls suggest me

A. good to add salt as it would be over burden. You can give different taste by adding Cummin powder, Curry leaves, coriender leaves, ajawain (carrom seeds), cinnamon,cardamom,ginger, garlic, nutmeg, date puree, or boiled and pureed risings

A. it's better to avoid salt. you can enhance the taste of uggu by adding some fruit to it. you can also add dates or little ghee. try adding pinch of jeera powder in case you haven't added it while preparing uggu. you can add various vegetables like sweet potato, carrot, bottle gourd, beetroot, potato etc. if she still rejects ask your paediatrician for the safe quantity of salt to be added.
