A. Thanks doctor for the response Actually just few days back my doughter shifted to UAE, and as she is two years old we are not giving her breastfeeding. Right now we are giving her rice, curd and butter milk. But she likes icecream cone please advise if we can give her the same. Not on daily basis but once in a week or twice. Also today she just passed stool one time but it was very dark and it was not liquid nor hard.

A. it is very important that whenever such a situation arises you have to give only simple diet to the child kindly give ORS for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor. also you cannot give outside milk to the child and you cannot give cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days
