Q.

My daughter has broken her thumb nail from middle( got hurt from one of the door), she is not having much pain, still i have given her ibugesic, i am not sure what to do for preventing infection.Is the condition serious and need immediate medical attention. Please suggest what to do

A. if there is no pain then no need to give ibugesic. also it does not looks to be inflammatory. the chances are that it will gradually come out and get replaced with a normal nail

A. Clean it with betadine liquid if you have available otherwise you can go ahead with using any mild anti septic liquid yet if you feel that Veena is there or it is not clear properly then yes you can visit your nearest doctor ones
