Q.

my daughter had a long gap between her meal and due to this she is vomiting. she has been given ondem and colic aid in addition with injection Emset. but even after these her vomiting are not under control. please advise

A. Clear fluids like broth or water can be a great option to rehydrate your child. Electrolyte solution like ORS can also be helpful to supplement the lost nutrients. Ginger ale or lukewarm soda can be given in small quantities once it is flat. You will need to stir it to dissolve some of the bubbles as carbonation may make things worse.
