A. hello....don't worry some kids start later...Most children speak their first word between 10 to 14 months of age. By the time your baby is 1 year old, baby will say between one to three words. They will be simple, and not complete words, but you will know what they mean like my liitle one said “ma-ma,” n “pa-pa,” or try a name for a sibling, pet, or toy...also by the 18 month baby will start speaking one or two small sentences ...but some babies take more time then others which is nothing to worry about...show to Speech therapist if baby doesn't speak soon..
