Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. growth of the child can be ensured by fulfillment of proper nutritional requirement specially iron and vit D is required for better growth and cognition.you should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of micro and macronutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids pro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended before two yrs of age.u can add flavours also to milk. avoid giving too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking milk properly the dairy products will jzsybe a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Eggs are power-packed with high quality proteins and healthy fats. One egg contains approximately 6 grams of protein. Daily consumption of eggs enhances muscle gain and weight gain in underweight children. Whole eggs also contain vitamin A and vitamin B12, which are required for the growth and development of a child.
