If your child is not speaking properly there could be either a delay in the speech of the child or your child does not have a very good vocabulary in terms of learning maybe when you do not communicate much the child does not learn and like I said there could be a delay in the week so I would suggest looking at the age you definitely need to consult a speech therapist
