Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, age of my son is 2.5 years. He not yet started talking properly. He speaks words but We cannot recognise what does he speak. He identify and understand what we ask him to do. But he does not do that do us. Please suggest. Thank you!

A. it is very important to meet your doctor to evaluate the growth as well as developmental milestones of the child DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not

A. to make them speak follw these everyday Talk more to your baby. Ask a lot of questions to baby and wait to her a response. Encourage baby to give an answer. If baby tries to speak, wait listen and ask questions. Keep talking to baby and answer to all the babbles. Tell your nay everything you do like I'm taking you to park I'm changing your diaper every little thing trybto explain to your baby and baby. Just keep talking and respond to everything your baby babbles or speaks.
