my child is 7 weeks old he is not following the objects when shown and he is smiling but doesn't respond to my smile.Will this all take more time or should I get checked

A. hi , don't worry. they will learn to smile back at a much later stage. Around 3-4 months is when they smile normally. Around 6-7 months is when they develop a social smile.
