Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. regarding sleep pattern in children above one year of age you have to just make a proper discipline for the child so that gradually the child will develop a proper schedule and avoid too much of screen time and other activities at least one hour before sleep also make the room environment and temperature favourable for the child tou sleep.
toddlers may have night terrors and nightmares which needs to be managed accordingly.

is your child taking breastfeeding ?
if yes ,then it is normal.
otherwise ,some factors like hunger , room temperature , stomach upset , separation anxiety , sleep regression etc can cause it.
so first make sure your child takes dinner well.
keep your child well hydrated
dress your child in Cotton clothes
make sure your child feel comfortable while sleeping.
try to make your child sleep back by gently patting or rubbing his back.
