Father of a 5 yr 11 m old boy4 years ago
Q.

My Child has completed 15 months. He was able to take support and walk from the 9th month and crawls very fast. However he just does not try to walk without support. He prefers crawling as that helps him reach to the destination faster. If we try to hold him and make him walk he lifts his leg up. However he walks comfortably in the walker. How do we make him walk independently?

A. Hi Ishika, My child started walking independently around 16.5 months. We started making him stand for few seconds for 3-4 days even though he would cry. This helped him gain confidence to stand independently and started walking. Regards, Deepak

A. most of the babies by the end of 15 to 16 months will be walking independently since your baby is also walking properly hold babies finger everyday for fue minutes and let him walk so that he may get confidence
