My child has cold since 1 month, it is not getting better. Now he is only 2 months old.

Here are a few things to consider: Possible Reasons for Prolonged Cold: Immature Immune System: Babies at two months old have developing immune systems, which might make it harder for them to recover quickly from colds. Infection: Sometimes what appears to be a common cold can be a more serious respiratory infection, such as a bacterial infection or a respiratory virus (like RSV). Allergies: Though less common, allergies can sometimes cause symptoms like congestion and coughing that persist over time. Nasal Congestion: Newborns can also get blocked noses which make it seem like they have a cold, but it might just be due to congestion. Environmental Factors: Exposure to allergens, dry air, or other irritants can exacerbate cold symptoms. What You Can Do: Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of your baby’s temperature, breathing, and any other symptoms. If the baby has a fever (especially a high one), difficulty breathing, or is not feeding properly, seek medical attention immediately. Saline Drops: Use saline nasal drops to help clear your baby’s nose. This can make it easier for your baby to breathe.
