my child eats nicely almost everything cooked at home, be it doodh roti, daal khichdi, suji halwa, upma etc. but he does potty 3 - 4 times daily. Why is it so? Also he is not gaining much wait acc to what he eats. What could be the reason and what should I do?

A. I am giving everything fruits, nuts and cereals... I will reduce the quantity now. Can I give probiotics to my baby? Is it required at this age? If yes plz suggest

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen.
it also depends upon the diet the child is taking.
so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements.
the child should be given different flzavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount.
you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will helzp in improving the weight of the child.
you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry
