my boy is 5 months old. I have observed he is mostly rubbing his eyes and his eyes are watery. Should I consult an eye specialist for my child or is it normal for eyes to get irritable. I do not see redness in the eyes but as he rubs them the surrounding portion gets red and recedes after a while.

A. the baby is 5 months of age if baby is rubbing the eyes frequently if there is watering it is advisable to consult a optholmologist once for proper examination of the baby
