Q.

my boy is 2.5 year old he had fever from 2 days 102.3 first we gave Paracetamol 5ml for every 4 hours gap, today he had 100.2 is he required to go for doctors checkup, how many days do baby's fever lasts

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefena vffmic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
