Q.

My baby who is 10 months old is prescribed with clavam bid dry syrup(3.5 ml every 12 hrs)...my baby's weight is 9.1 kg....I need to know if this is an overdose for my baby...... or can I continue...what ll be the side effects?....I have already used the medicine for 5 days....and so am worried that he developed diarrhea....

A. Hello ma’am Well if your paediatrician has prescribe you a particular dosage that I am sure the doctor must have prescribed it to you keeping in mind the age and the weight of the baby so I don’t think so there is anything to be worried about but still if you have any kind of doubt relating to it then it is best to talk to your paediatrician only
