HomeQuestions & AnswersMy baby was full term botn at 38 weeks as an iugr baby with birthweight 2.39kg
Lenght 46cm
HC 33cm...
My question is is the baby symmetrical iugr or asymmetric iugr... Hospital didn't mentioned it..
During the pregnancy till 30weeks the fetus was in 55 percentile.. Suddenly after that highly uterine restriction started the percentile dropped to 23rd.. And I had pre-eclampsia at 35th week ...
At 38weeks I had emergency c section...
Now she is 5months old with 6kg weight
62 cm Lenght and 41 hc
Is my babies growth is normal??does iugr means she will be small compared to other babies???

A. Yes over the period it is going to be fine on its own so you do not have to worry about that these kids pick up over the period they take some time but definitely pick up well enough all the growth and every day so if your doctor advises you to go ahead with any treatment on medication continue with that but I can tell you that over the period kids do start feeling better with itWrite Your Answer Here
