Q.
my baby was born 2.250 gms and he was admitted in NICU for 4 days. At the time of discharge his weight was same and now he is of 16 days but the weight has only increased to 2.300 is this normal or should we do something for weight

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. In the first 15 days after birth the baby will lose around 10% of the body weight and there after start gaining around 15-20g per day. So I think it’s fine
