Give him healthy options : but limit the options offered. For example, do you need paneer parantha or aloo parantha. Give him a plate of colourful foods. Offer different textures of foods. Give new foods along with his favourite foods. Give him a spoon and a bowl to eat. Let him play with the food. Let him make a mess. He will try to learn eating with a spoon and in the learning process, might eat few bites. Do not force him to eat. Make sure that all distractions like TV, laptop, notepad, phones are avoided during the meal time. Make sure that the entire family eats together so that he learns to eat by watching you. Persistence is the key. Offer the same food 10-15 times and one fine day, he might accept it.
