Q.

My baby turns 2 months on 12th DECEMBER. I am worried that he is not drinking the milk during the night time for past 3 days. I am feeding him at 10PM and putting him to sleep. He rarely wakes up around 2AM and drinks milk for 2 to 5 mins, falling asleep again. Even if i try to wake him up and force feed, he drinks for 1 more min and falls asleep. If i force him more, he starts to cry. So, he properly drinks milk only 5 times a day. Is this normal?

A. Dear mum, please check the urine count of your baby. If your baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours and is active, alert then your baby is having sufficient feed. Feed your baby on demand. There is no need to wake up your baby and force feed.
