Q.
My baby poops after 4 to 5 days from last 20 days. How can i ensure that baby passes stool atleast every alternate day. Also he passes lot of gas for which i massage baby's stomach and give warm water bath.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Massage tummy in clockwise direction around the navel abd also cycling motion of legs helps and during day time give tummy time to baby and feeding regular intervals and burp after feeds

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. The important thing is the consistency of the stool so if it is semi solid to solid do nnot worry about the frequency of stool passage by the child.
It can vary from once in 10 days also and sometimes maybe around 6 to 7 times per day also.
If the consistency of the stool is hard then only you have to visit the doctor
