my baby now 2.5month old.she is having thick oral thrush.I tried to clean many times with towel but not going.she also having diaper rash and red smelli rashes on the neck. kindly reply me. thank you.

A. this pattern can be seen due to fungal infection in the oral cavity of the child. many times it may be associated with either bottle feeding or usage of antibiotics in children. it is important to differentiate between stuck milk inside the oral cavity and the fungal infection that is also known as oral thrush. meet your doctor for examination of the child and treatment for perianal/perigenital / diaper rash if it is less then you can go for simple coconut oil as well as any rash cream which is available for diaper rash like (rashfree / ezinapi / b4napi / zincal) but if it is not improving then at night time you can add t bact cream in the persianal area which will help in decreasing the rash. to prevent the diaper rash in the future kindly apply coconut oil before making the child wear the diaper
