Q.
my baby is50 days old and her weight is 4.2kg , she is having Cold and cough from last 5days , we went to local children doctor and he given cold nasal drops and cough syrup, we are using that but she is not getting relief from cold and cough. is anything we are worried about ? please let me know

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. baby is very small not advisable to use cold medicines they will cause drowsiness in the baby cold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby
