my baby is suffering from cold and cough she will be turning 4months next week her doctor suggested to give tixylin syrup 1.5ml 3 times a day 1 day has passed no such improvement also after this medicine she has started sleeping longer can you pls suggest does this medicine lead to extra sleep?? and is this medicine effective for cold and cough

whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is nxo improvement after three days then take a follow up.
so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not
