Q.

my baby is on both breast feeding and formula milk as I have low supply of breast milk. but my baby only take 50 to 60 ml formula milk. he is two' and half months now. is it ok.

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits the minimum weight gain of the child should be around 500 grams in one month

A. hi mam,if possible please offer plenty of breastfeeds because the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. and as far as your child is looking happy healthy and active, gains enough weight, passes Urine around 7 or 8 times in a day ,you should not worry about anything
