Q.

My son is 11 days old. I am giving him both breast and formula milk. But I am confused about the quantity of milk. for how much time I should give him breast milk as milk supply is low. And also after how much time I should give him formula milk??

A. the milk supply gradually increases...make the baby latch and suck..this is a demand and supply process of the body...our body produces milk depending on the demand of the baby...have a proer and health diet to improve the supply....lots of water after each feed and include seseme and garlic in diet which increases the milk...and also having halim seeds with milk improves the supply hope this helps thank you

A. About 30 ML is ideally going to be a very good amount to be given to the child in every feeding and that’s the minimum amount that the child can easily have in this age so you can give it every two hours and one time breast and one time formula feeling is going to be the right pattern for you to follow
