Q.

my baby is nine months old .he is under teething phase.he is doing loose motion and vomitting.consulted a pediatrician he is under drips due to virus .any other precautions to be taken by us

A. Dear due to hygiene issue due to sliva baby put everything in there mouth u can use all tym bib & clean hand & mouth & give ORS to control loose motion & also give gripe water for teeting

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bagdcterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
