my baby is having heavy diaper rash since 3 days and frequent bowel movements even though intake is only formula or breast feed. rash is fully red kind of pimple and painful while changing diapers and cleaning diaper region.please suggest what to do and to stop rash and frequent bowel.

A. If the frequent bowel stools are loose then you should consult with your pediatrician. Stop using diapers for few days. Use cotton nappies which will keep the area aerated. Apply coconut oil regularly. If the area has severe rashes then u should consult your pediatrician and get some medicated ointments prescribed.
