Q.
My baby is having cough and cold and we are giving ascoril ls and maxtra to him... weather condition in this place is hot of about 29°C with extreme humidity of about 97%..can we use AC right now during cold and cough or we can use ceiling fan?...please note that we are using fan with slow speed only but he is sweating very much..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. yes there is no problem in using air conditioner for children as well as newborns but the air current should be slightly away . you can keep the temperature axt around 28 degree celsius to 30 degree celsius. one way to know whether the child is feeling cold or not would xbe by touching the palms soles and ears of the child and if they are warm the child is warm and comfortable and if they are cold the child is feeling cold.
