Q.

my baby is going to be 5th months. he is not urination properly like when he sleeps for 10 hrs or 12 hrs he is not passing urine. when he woke up passing urine normally. is it normal??

A. urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour. the minimum requirement would bse more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaint. there is nso problem if the urine frequency is normal and the child is not passing urine at night

However, as your baby grows, his bladder capacity will increase, and his body will start to produce a hormone that prevents him from peeing at night.
