Q.

My baby is 9 months old and is suffering from a common cold.She is taking in mucolite drops Cetzine drops.She was asked to give paracetamol drops but we stopped it after two days once she has normal temperature.Is it ok to do so or should we complete the course.Same with the other medicines too?

A. Paracetamol should be given only when the child is having fever so if the child is not having fever you can stop the medicines same applies to the cold and cough medicines and the course needs to be completed only for an antibiotic if it has been given

A. If your doctor has suggested a course of particular time like three days or five days then even if the problem is sorted you need to complete that course because for a particular reason only the medicines are given with a certain days of course so kindly complete that course and if it is only about paracetamol that is what you can stop giving
