My baby is 9 month old and he is having cough and cold so what to do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honeyx can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

You should consult your doctor for proper medicines your child is too small due to whether change viral infection is also spreading so they’ll be able to help you with right medicines to follow your child that is going to benefit in getting relieved to your child
