Q.

My baby is 8 month old.i have done all the vaccinations up to date.there is polio immunisation programme being held.should i get oral polio drops again today?

A. pulse polio immunization is extra dosage irrespective of the vaccination schedule as well as the vaccination that is been given to the child.g it is advisable that you get the child vaccinated for polio if the child isf not having any type of fever at present. simple cough and cold is not a contraindication for polio drops. it is usually available at any government centre that is primary and centre or urban health centre
