Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 7 weeks old and he is fighting sleep during day...he naps for 5-10mins and wakes throughout the day till 5pm.Though the feeding and toilets are all normal

A. hello the sleep cycle of the child can vary.. just make sure the child is getting sufficient feed and it is tummyful so it will be able to have a good sleep and if the breast milk is not sufficient you can give infant formula milk using a bpa free bottle like babyhug

Q. Hi doctor, My baby is 5 weeks old and she started to sleep throughout the night (6-7 hours) doesn’t wakes up for feeding. If she wakes then she drinks for less than 5 minutes. During day time she feed every 3-4 hourly( less than 15 minutes). She pees around 8 times a day and poops 3 times. Is it okay to sleep throughout? Do I need to wake her up?
