Q.
my baby is 7 month old .he is coughing for 2-3 days no medicine given and tonight he is vomiting while coughing .is it normal or serious

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronhchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is tfhere paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sowmya MMom of 4 children3 years agoA. hello actually during the night time the cough will usually increase very much please try to give some turmeric milk or warm water during sleeping time and also take care of your kid
