Q.

my baby is 6 months 10 days old and her head is hot every time and i have measures the temperature it is around 99.00° or 100.3° and as u say thermoregulation systems is not develop properly then any side effects or any causes of that also wants to know what we can do for develope

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefefnamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptocms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .
