Q.

my baby is 5month old, we have given him 3rd vaccination today, after that he got fever and doing loose motions as well, even after giving paracetamol his fever is not going.. pls suggest what should I do..

A. hi your baby is 3 months old now post vaccination baby tend to have fever and sometimes loose motions.measure body temperature and if above 100 F then give paracteamol drops around 0.8 ml and give plenty of breast feeding to maintain hydration

A. Hello ma’am You can repeat paracetamol every 6 to 8 hours if you needed if the fever does not go and if needed you can do polls punch to the child and lastly would advise you to keep an ice cube on to the area with the vaccination is given certain to settle the swelling down. And if the fever still does not subside then you can continue giving paracetamol for 2 to 3 days
