my baby is 5 months old...and she got her first teeth....is it good to give her teether?..are silicone teether safe for the baby?..she always tries to put the toys in the mouth..so can I give a teether instead?

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls doown and goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion
