Q.

my baby is 5 month old ....and in my in laws house everyone told me that his private part should open completely....they ask me to drop mustard oil and apply some force to open it ... it eventually opens but now it doesn't go downwards ...should I be worried

It’s a good idea to put oil and pull it down gently it is going to go down completely you don’t have to force it you just have to keep your hand very light and it’s a common situation to be seen it usually happens by the time of six months to one year with regular practice if you start early it can take about two or three months so don’t worry about it this is all normal in case of any doubt you can always visit Dr

A. Hey ... dear pls don't try to open forcefully. At birth, the foreskin of most babies doesn't fully pull back, also called retract. So be careful not to force the foreskin back. Forcing it back could cause pain, tearing and bleeding.
