my baby is 44 days old and she has cold from past 15 days and iam giving her nasal drops and now she has mucus so wt do u suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child
You can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decredasing both cough and cold
Continue the regular diet of the child
If there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor
For fever and pain give paracetamol

Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
