Start home based cereals based pulses enriched energy dens food in between fruit and vegetables, begin with mashed ripped banana one sitting continue for 2 to 3 days, if baby digested it well then introduce another new food like apple puree, over cooked rice, khichri in morning and switch banana in evening.
Gradually baby will be on 3 to 4 semisolid diet in a day.

you can feed baby immediately after baby wakes up
don't encourage the thumb sucking habit as baby will loss appetite
