Q.

my baby is 4 and half moths old.. she got vaccinated penta 2 vaccine on May 12th.. On her thigh, there's big hard red lump.. Will it go away on its own or should i do something.. I'm rubbing the area with ice and applying thrombophob gel.. some people say don't rub ice and some say otherwise.. what should i do.. please suggest something useful

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. f it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccinatiocn immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
